Selling a home can be an art and science as well. The art is in being creative in marketing a home. A creative Realtor works with the seller by getting to know their needs and formulating a strategic plan to sell their home. Many times open houses, newspaper ads and posting in Multiple Listing Service are not enough. A complete marketing plan using the internet business model, knowledge of comparative pricing in relation to the current market conditions and a network of acquaintances help sell a house. The science is in the analysis and use of leading edge technology to provide excellence in innovative service to my clients.

Buying a home is usually the most important financial decision of one's life. The Realtor must get to know the client and their needs. Knowing the geographic area, the price range, the size of the home all figure into the search process. Once I get to know a family and their wants and needs, a comprehensive seach begins based on an established set of criteria. My website also allows the potential buyer to research properties at their convenience. It is one of the many technological tools I employ to benefit both buyers and sellers.

One of my greatest strengths is that I believe family comes first, having raised three wonderful sons who are all in college now. I am very sensitive to a family's needs. Matching a house with a family involves great sensitivity and knowledge. I have developed a mental checklist of family needs and budget which helps me determine the geographic location of the search and size and program elements of the house.

Earlier in my career I worked as a financial advisor. I prepared financial plans and managed investment portfolios for families. I take this knowledge into real estate and I help families understand the financial requirements of purchasing a home, items such as mortgage payments, taxes, budgeting for monthly utilities, insurance, etc. If a family has this financial knowledge about a house they will feel more comfortable with their decisions.

I was born and raised near Manila, Philippines. After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Santo Tomas, I immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and worked as a research chemist for about 20 years. I received an MBA Degree with International Finance and Portfolio Management specializations at La Salle University, Philadelphia, PA. I worked as a financial advisor and subsequently joined my husband's architectural firm as his finance and business development partner. Owning a primary residence is considered an investment in itself and has its place in one's portfolio of investment assets. My passion for investments, architecture, and helping people acheive their goals and dreams, especially "The American Dream" were the key areas that inspired me to become a Realtor.

Outside of real estate, I spend time with family and friends, spoil my Bichon Frise and grow beautiful exotic orchids. I also enjoy photography, volunteer services, reading, golf and fishing.

I am affiliated with the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, and the Melbourne Area Association of Realtors, and have received the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and E-PRO Internet Professional Designations. In order to expand my knowledge and provide additional service, particularly in commercial real estate investments, I am currently a CCIM candidate working towards the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. I am also involved with the Women's Council of Realtors, The Brevard County Orchid Society, Melbourne - Palm Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and the Filipino American Association of Brevard County.
